My trip to France was awesome! It was great to experience the cultural differences, meet new people, and in general just step outside of my comfort zone. I think that one of the greatest differences is that France is very family oriented. They spend a lot of time with their families and this is something we sometimes take for granted in the U.S. One of the biggest things I learned during the trip was patience. As Americans we sometimes need a set schedule and we have to stick with that or else everything goes crazy! In France we all learned to just go with the flow and let God take care of the rest. My favorite part of the trip was going to Paris and seeing all of the famous landmarks I read about in school! Overall, the trip was amazing and I look forward to hopefully coming back in a couple of years!
