BLF Impressions Team Testimony

Although this was our ninth year serving the Lord with BLF (Bibles and Literature in French), God teaches us something new each time by opening our eyes to the spiritual needs in France. In a country where 0.6% of the people are Christians, there is much work to be done by the few missionaries who are serving there. Our purpose as short-term missionaries is to assist and encourage the full-time missionaries in France. We were able to do this in two distinct ways this year.
First, we worked in the BLF print shop assembling Manga Messiah books for mailing to private schools all over France. We ask that you pray that the books will be read by the school administrators who receive them and that these books will be used in the schools to bring the students to Christ. The Manga series of books are aimed at young people and they are a powerful witness for Christ to all who will read them.
Secondly, we helped the missionaries in Valenciennes, France, by distributing calendars to mailboxes all over town. These calendars contain Scripture passages and the contact information for the local church. Many hands made light work to get the job done. The missionaries told us that this distribution would have taken them at least a year to accomplish without our help. Please pray that those who received the calendars will be touched by the truths of Scripture.
We were blessed to get to know the missionaries who labor so diligently and yet see very few people respond to the Gospel. We highly recommend a short-term mission trip to France with BLF. You will not return the same!
